Description
The Laguna is a 1524mm-tall floor lamp with a dual-shade design, each shade built from taupe mica panels enclosed in a renaissance copper frame. A band of copper-toned mosaic tiles wraps around the centre of each shade, creating horizontal visual weight that balances the vertical column. Two pull-chain switches allow each of the two E27 bulb positions to be controlled independently.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where ambient light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Laguna works in spaces with traditional, Arts & Crafts or transitional interiors. The mica diffuses the light from both bulbs into a soft, warm glow rather than a concentrated downlight, making it suitable for general room lighting rather than task lighting. The 406mm-wide shade sits on a round weighted base with a footprint of approximately 350mm.
The renaissance copper finish is a warm, aged bronze tone that sits between antique brass and oil-rubbed bronze. The mosaic tile band uses small square tiles in copper, bronze and amber tones, each tile catching light differently depending on angle. The mica panels themselves show natural variation in tone and translucency, ranging from pale taupe to warmer amber-beige depending on the section of mica used. The two-bulb configuration allows the lamp to run at half brightness (one bulb on) or full output (both bulbs on) via the independent pull chains.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Laguna takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting.
Can I control the two bulbs separately?
Yes. Each bulb position has its own pull-chain switch visible in the image, allowing you to run the lamp at half brightness (one bulb) or full output (both bulbs).
What's the difference between mica and fabric shades?
Mica is a natural mineral sliced into thin translucent sheets, rather than fabric. It produces a warmer, more diffused glow than fabric and shows natural variation in colour and grain between individual pieces. Mica is also more heat-resistant than fabric, allowing higher-wattage bulbs.
What finish is renaissance copper?
Renaissance copper is a warm, aged bronze tone with reddish undertones, sitting between antique brass and oil-rubbed bronze. It pairs well with warm wood tones, terracotta, rust and amber colour schemes.
