Description

The Knightsbridge Torlan is a 2ft (653mm) IP65-rated non-corrosive batten light with switchable wattage and colour temperature, built into a slimline polycarbonate housing with an opal diffuser. Internal switches allow selection between 14W (up to 2,100lm at 4000K) or 26W (up to 3,955lm at 4000K) output, and between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, or 5700K cool white, giving six possible configurations from a single fitting.

Designed for commercial, industrial and outdoor applications where moisture, dust and impact resistance are required, the Torlan suits warehouses, workshops, storage areas, car parks, loading bays, garages and covered external walkways. The IP65 rating seals the fitting against water jets and dust ingress, while the IK08 impact rating protects against mechanical damage up to 5 joules. The polycarbonate body resists corrosion in damp or coastal environments where metal housings would degrade, and stainless steel diffuser clips ensure the cover remains secure without rust.

The 653mm length, 129mm width and 90mm projection allow surface mounting directly to ceilings or walls using the integrated back plate. Suspension mounting is possible with an optional accessory kit (sold separately). The fitting draws from mains 230V 50Hz with a constant-current driver integrated into the housing. The SMD LED array delivers a 130-degree beam angle for wide, even coverage, with a CRI above 85 and an L70B50 lifespan rated at 60,000 hours. The switchable wattage and CCT reduce stock complexity for installers and allow on-site adjustment to match the required light level and colour temperature without ordering multiple SKU variants.
