Description

The Knightsbridge 2.5W LED under cabinet light provides 220 lumens of cool white 4000K light from an integrated SMD LED behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, set within a brushed chrome bezel. The unit measures 68mm diameter with an 11mm projection from the underside of the cabinet, fitting a 63mm cut-out hole and surface-mounting via a pressed steel back plate.

Designed for task lighting beneath kitchen wall units, wardrobes, shelving and display cabinets, the fitting runs on a constant current driver (sold separately) and connects via a 2.5m cable, allowing daisy-chaining of multiple units to a single driver. The 100-degree beam angle gives even wash coverage across worktops without creating hard shadows under the cabinet edge. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer driver, allowing brightness adjustment between full output and a low-level background glow.

The polycarbonate and pressed steel construction carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior locations. The brushed chrome finish on the bezel sits flush with most cabinet undersides and pairs with brushed stainless steel appliances and contemporary kitchen hardware. The light source delivers 136 lumens per watt efficacy with a CRI above 80 and an L70B50 lifespan of 25,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 11 years of typical kitchen use at 6 hours per day.

Can multiple lights be connected together?

Yes. The 2.5m cable allows daisy-chaining of multiple units to a single driver. Calculate the total wattage of all units and ensure the driver can supply sufficient current.

Is the light dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer driver. The light is not compatible with leading-edge dimmers. Check the driver specification before purchase to confirm dimming support.

What is the colour temperature?
