Description

The Kincaid is a 335mm flush ceiling light with an opal-etched glass drum shade set within a stepped polished chrome metal frame. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately, up to 60W each) sit behind the etched glass, which diffuses the light evenly across the shade surface. The fitting sits 143mm below the ceiling once installed, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights or lower.

Designed for bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms and interior landings, the Kincaid carries an IP44 rating for moisture resistance, allowing it to be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the direct shower spray area). The flush-mount design fits standard UK ceiling roses and requires no special back box. The chamfered metal rim around the shade edge gives the fitting a defined profile when viewed from below, preventing it from appearing as a flat disc against the ceiling.

Yes. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers positions outside the direct shower spray area. It is not suitable for zone 0 (inside the shower enclosure) or zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower tray).
