Description

The Jens is a 175mm wide LED outdoor wall light in a die-cast aluminium housing with a black powder-coated finish and polycarbonate lens. A 10W integrated LED sits behind the lens, producing up-and-down wall wash through a cylindrical body that projects 90mm from the wall. The fitting carries an IP65 rating, protecting the electronics against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for exterior walls, patios, building entrances and courtyard pathways, the Jens mounts to standard outdoor electrical back boxes and suits both residential and commercial installations. An onboard switch allows the colour temperature to be set to 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K cool white before final installation, giving flexibility to match the lighting tone to the building's context or neighbouring fittings without needing multiple stock variants.

The cylindrical form and recessed lens create a directional wash effect rather than a wide flood, making the fitting suitable for accent lighting on textured brick, render or timber cladding where the upward and downward beams highlight the material's surface. The die-cast construction and sealed assembly reduce the need for ongoing maintenance compared to open-face fittings, and the integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement over the fitting's working life.

A small switch on the fitting's body allows you to select between 3000K, 4000K and 5700K before final installation. Once set, the colour temperature remains fixed — it is not user-adjustable from the wall switch after installation.

What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It can be installed on fully exposed walls subject to rain, but should not be submerged or installed where it will sit in standing water.

Does it need a specific back box depth?
