Description

The Illusis is an 800mm semi-flush ceiling light with 15 G9 bulb fittings suspended beneath a white metal canopy. Glass spheres of varying sizes hang from clear nylon threads at different lengths, creating a cascading effect that sits 150-200mm below the ceiling. The white metal frame and translucent glass spheres diffuse light across the room rather than directing it downward, making the fitting function as ambient rather than task lighting.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Illusis provides broad illumination without the drop length of a full pendant. The semi-flush mount positions the bulk of the glass within 200mm of the ceiling, keeping head clearance open in rooms where a chandelier would hang too low. The 15 G9 bulbs are controlled together on a single circuit and are dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable G9 bulbs.

Each glass sphere is fixed to an individual nylon thread, so the spheres move slightly in air currents and reflect light differently as you move around the room. The white powder-coated metal canopy measures 800mm across and conceals the ceiling rose connection. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor rooms only. Bulbs are sold separately — the fitting accepts standard G9 halogen or G9 LED bulbs up to the maximum wattage listed in the specification.
