Description

The Ignis track light lens is a 50mm diameter optical accessory that narrows the beam angle of compatible Ignis track light heads to 15°. The lens clips or screws onto the front of the track light housing, replacing the standard reflector beam pattern with a tightly focused spot suitable for highlighting individual objects, architectural details or products in retail and gallery settings.

Designed for commercial track lighting installations where precise light control is needed, the 15° beam angle delivers a concentrated pool of light approximately 30cm wide at 2m distance. This makes it suitable for accent lighting artworks, jewellery displays, museum exhibits and product shelving where light needs to be contained to a specific target without spill onto surrounding walls or adjacent items. The lens fits Ignis track heads running on standard single-circuit or three-circuit track systems.

The optical-grade material maintains colour rendering and light transmission efficiency while reshaping the beam. The 50mm diameter matches the aperture of Ignis track heads in the same range, sitting flush with the front of the housing once fitted. Installation requires no tools on most Ignis models — the lens either clips into a bayonet mount or threads onto the lamp holder depending on the specific track head model.

Frequently Asked

Which Ignis track lights is this lens compatible with?

The 50mm lens fits Ignis track heads with a 50mm front aperture. Check the specification of your existing track light or contact us with the model number to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Does the lens reduce light output?

The lens redirects light into a narrower 15° beam rather than reducing total output. The concentrated beam may appear brighter at the centre of the pool, but some light that would have spread wider is now focused into the spot.

Can multiple lenses be stacked?

No. Stacking multiple lenses degrades optical performance and can cause heat buildup in the track head. Use only one lens per track light.
