Description

The Ice is a 125mm pendant light with a cylindrical white metal lampholder and ceiling rose, paired with a clear glass globe diffuser and fabric-covered flex. The single E27 bulb sits inside the glass globe, with the white metal sleeve concealing the lampholder mechanism and creating a clean junction between cable and glass.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and entrance halls where a simple overhead fitting is needed without heavy visual weight, the Ice works equally well installed singly above a breakfast bar or in multiples of three or five spaced evenly above a dining table. The 2000mm fabric cable can be shortened during installation to set the pendant at the required drop, typically 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining surface depending on ceiling height.

The clear glass diffuser allows the bulb itself to become part of the visible design, so pairing the Ice with a decorative filament LED or globe bulb adds character. The white metal finish on the lampholder sleeve and ceiling rose pairs cleanly with white ceilings and works across Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The pendant weighs under 500g and fits standard UK ceiling roses without additional support.

What bulb does it take?

The Ice uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. The clear glass globe makes the bulb visible when lit, so a decorative LED filament bulb or warm-white globe bulb works well.

Is the Ice dimmable?

Yes. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen and the dimmer switch model. Most LED E27 bulbs marked as dimmable will work with standard trailing-edge dimmers.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

The 2000mm fabric-covered cable can be shortened during installation. Most electricians will shorten it to the required drop and conceal the excess cable inside the ceiling void above the ceiling rose.
