Description

The HDview TFT-BRA2 is an articulating monitor bracket for screens between 12" and 28", with a multi-pivot arm that allows 27° of tilt adjustment and 180° of swivel rotation. The bracket mounts to standard VESA patterns and supports screens up to 20kg in weight, covering most small-to-mid-size monitors and TFT displays used in home offices, studios, and light commercial installations.

The articulating arm extends the screen away from the wall for viewing angle adjustment, then folds back into a close-to-wall position when not in use. This makes it suitable for tight spaces where a fixed bracket would position the screen too far forward, or where the monitor needs to be angled towards different seating positions throughout the day. The swivel function allows the screen to be rotated left or right without repositioning the entire bracket.

The bracket itself weighs 0.81kg and ships with wall fixings for masonry or stud installation. The articulating mechanism uses a friction hinge that holds the screen at the chosen angle without needing to lock or tighten separate controls after each adjustment. The black powder-coated finish on the steel frame resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly behind most monitors.

Frequently Asked

What VESA patterns does this bracket support?

The TFT-BRA2 supports standard VESA mounting patterns for screens between 12" and 28". Check your monitor's rear panel for the VESA hole spacing — common patterns in this size range are 75x75mm and 100x100mm. The specification sheet linked above confirms exact compatibility.

How far does the bracket extend from the wall?

The articulating arm extends the screen forward to allow viewing angle adjustment. When folded back, the bracket sits close to the wall. Exact extension measurements depend on your screen depth and the pivot position — the bracket dimensions listed show the mechanism itself measures 134mm deep when collapsed.

Can the bracket be installed on plasterboard?

The bracket can be installed on plasterboard if you use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the combined weight of the bracket and screen (up to 20.81kg total). For heavier monitors or long-term reliability, fixing into wooden studs behind the plasterboard is recommended.

Does the tilt angle lock in place?

The bracket uses a friction hinge mechanism that holds the screen at the chosen tilt and swivel angle without needing to tighten or lock separate controls after each adjustment. The hinge tension is set during manufacture to balance adjustment ease with holding strength.
