The unit ships with a pre-installed 16TB surveillance-grade hard drive and uses H.265 video compression to extend storage duration compared to H.264, typically doubling retention time at the same resolution and frame rate.

Designed for commercial premises, industrial sites, multi-building estates and large residential properties requiring continuous 24/7 recording across multiple zones, the NVR supports simultaneous playback, live view and remote monitoring via mobile app. The 64 IP channels connect over standard Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling with a maximum cable run of 250m per channel, and two uplink ports allow integration into existing network infrastructure. The HDMI output delivers up to 4K resolution for control room monitoring or multi-screen wall displays.

Intelligent detection features include line-cross detection (virtual tripwire) and perimeter intrusion detection, which can trigger alerts or switch recording modes when movement crosses defined boundaries. Recording modes include continuous, scheduled, motion-triggered and intelligent-triggered, allowing the system to balance storage use with coverage requirements. The front-panel USB ports support backup of recorded footage to external drives for evidence transfer or archival. How many days of footage can 16TB store at 8MP resolution?

Storage duration depends on frame rate, compression settings and how many of the 64 channels are actively recording. At H.265 compression with 64 cameras recording continuously at 8MP and 15fps, 16TB typically provides 7-10 days of retention. Lower resolutions, reduced frame rates or motion-triggered recording extend this significantly.

Can this NVR be accessed remotely?

Yes. The NVR supports remote monitoring via mobile app and web browser once connected to a network with internet access. Remote access requires port forwarding or cloud relay configuration, detailed in the product manual.

What type of cameras does it support?

The NVR supports IP cameras using ONVIF or HDview protocols at resolutions up to 8MP. It does not support analogue (BNC) cameras. Check camera compatibility with your existing or planned camera models before purchase.

Is the 16TB hard drive user-replaceable?
