Description

The HDview 8-channel 4MP CCTV kit pairs a digital video recorder with four grey dome cameras, a 4TB surveillance-grade hard drive, 25m of cabling per camera, and a 12V power supply unit. Each camera records at 4MP resolution and features infrared night vision with an IP66 weatherproof rating for indoor or outdoor installation. The 8-channel DVR supports up to eight cameras total, allowing the system to be expanded with four additional cameras as needed.

Designed for home security, small business premises, and light commercial sites, the kit provides continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes. Remote monitoring works via Android or iOS app, or through the included CMS software on a PC. The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output, with a mouse-driven interface for playback and configuration. Video files back up to USB for evidence transfer or archiving.

The grey dome cameras mount on ceilings or walls with a 3.6mm fixed lens providing a balanced field of view for monitoring driveways, entrances, retail floors and communal areas. Each camera draws power from the central 12V PSU, simplifying installation by running a single coaxial cable per camera rather than separate power cables. The 4TB hard drive provides approximately 30-60 days of continuous recording at 4MP depending on motion frequency and recording schedule settings. The DVR operates silently without cooling fans, making it suitable for installation in cupboards, lofts or office environments.
