Description

The HDview 4MP 8-channel CCTV kit pairs a DVR recorder with four grey IP66-rated bullet cameras, each delivering 4-megapixel resolution through a 3.6mm fixed lens. The DVR comes pre-fitted with a 4TB surveillance-grade hard drive and supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording across all four camera inputs, with four additional channels available for future expansion to an eight-camera system.

Designed for home, small business and light commercial security, the system records to the internal hard drive and allows remote viewing via Android, iOS or PC using the included CMS software. The DVR outputs video over HDMI or VGA to a monitor, and recorded footage can be backed up to USB for evidence transfer. Each bullet camera carries an IP66 rating for outdoor installation and includes built-in IR LEDs for night vision up to 25m in total darkness.

The kit includes all mounting hardware, 25m of cabling per camera, and a centralized 12V power supply that feeds all four cameras from a single mains connection. The DVR runs silently without fan noise and uses a mouse-driven interface for setup and playback. Remote monitoring works over wired Ethernet or via a powerline adapter where running network cable is impractical. The system supports simultaneous live view, playback and remote access without interrupting recording.

Each camera uses a 3.6mm lens offering a wide field of view suited to monitoring driveways, building perimeters, car parks and entrance points. The grey finish blends with most exterior walls and soffits, and the bullet housings mount on adjustable wall brackets allowing tilt and rotation during installation. The DVR occupies a single rack unit width and can be shelf-mounted or rack-mounted in a network cabinet.

Yes. The DVR supports up to eight cameras total. Four cameras are included in this kit, leaving four channels available for additional bullet or dome cameras purchased separately. All cameras must be compatible with the HDview DVR.

What is the night vision range?

Each bullet camera includes built-in IR LEDs providing visibility up to 25m in complete darkness. Night vision automatically activates when ambient light drops below the camera's threshold.

How is remote viewing set up?

The DVR connects to your router via Ethernet cable (included). Download the HDview app on Android or iOS, or use the included CMS software on a PC. The system supports remote monitoring over wired connection or via a powerline adapter where running network cable is not practical.
