Description

The HDview 8-channel CCTV kit combines a 4TB hard drive video recorder with four 4MP bullet cameras, all necessary cabling, and a system power supply in a single package. The DVR records up to eight camera feeds simultaneously at 4-megapixel resolution, with the pre-installed 4TB surveillance-grade hard drive providing weeks of continuous recording capacity depending on motion activity and recording schedule.

Designed for residential perimeter security, small business premises and light commercial applications, the system supports three recording modes: continuous, scheduled by time window, or motion-triggered. The four included bullet cameras carry IP66 weatherproof ratings and infrared night vision capability up to 25 metres, making them suitable for mounting on external walls under eaves or on internal ceilings in warehouses and workshops. Each camera uses a 3.6mm fixed lens giving approximately 80-degree horizontal field of view.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and is controlled by the included mouse through an on-screen interface. Remote monitoring works via the HDview mobile app for Android and iOS, or through CMS software on a PC over wired network connection or powerline adapter. Video evidence can be backed up to USB for transfer to authorities or insurance claims. The system ships with capacity to add four additional cameras to fill the eight channels.

The white bullet camera housings pair with render, painted masonry and UPVC building exteriors where high-contrast black cameras would be visually intrusive. The DVR operates silently without cooling fans, making it suitable for installation in offices, retail back-rooms and residential utility spaces where fan noise would be disruptive.
