Description

The HDview 4MP 8-channel CCTV kit combines a digital video recorder with four weatherproof bullet cameras, each recording at 4-megapixel resolution. The DVR ships with a 2TB surveillance-grade hard drive pre-installed, mouse-driven interface, and HDMI and VGA outputs for connection to a monitor. The system supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording, with footage accessible via USB backup or remote viewing through the included mobile app (Android and iOS) or PC software.

Designed for residential, small business and light commercial security applications, the kit suits properties needing coverage of entry points, driveways, gardens and internal corridors. The four included cameras provide day and night recording with infrared capability, and the eight-channel DVR capacity allows expansion with up to four additional cameras (sold separately) without replacing the recorder. Each camera carries an IP66 ingress protection rating for outdoor installation in exposed locations.

The bullet cameras use 3.6mm fixed lenses and record 2560 x 1440 resolution at 4 megapixels. The infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 25 metres in total darkness. The DVR offers programmable spot output, allowing a single camera feed to be displayed on a secondary monitor, and silent operation without audible fan noise. Remote monitoring works via wired network connection or over a powerline adapter (sold separately), with the included CMS software supporting multi-site management from a single PC.

The kit ships complete with the DVR, four cameras, coaxial cables for camera-to-DVR connection, and a 12V power supply unit rated to run the full system. The 2TB drive provides storage for several weeks of continuous recording or several months of motion-triggered recording depending on the number of active cameras and recording settings. The system supports H.265+ video compression to reduce file sizes without compromising playback quality.
