Description

The HDview SHDV4R is a 4-channel DVR recording up to four cameras at 4MP resolution, supplied with a 4TB surveillance-grade hard drive pre-installed. The unit records continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered footage and outputs to a monitor via HDMI or VGA connections. A USB port on the front panel allows backup of recordings to external storage for evidence transfer.

Designed for domestic and small commercial CCTV installations, the DVR handles up to four coaxial camera inputs and provides live view and playback at 4MP resolution. Remote monitoring is available via the ESP HDview app for iOS and Android smartphones, or through the included CMS software for PC access over a wired network or PowerLine adapter. The RS485 port supports PTZ camera control for installations requiring pan-tilt-zoom functionality.

The 4TB surveillance hard drive provides extended recording capacity depending on camera count, resolution settings and recording mode. A mouse-driven interface simplifies configuration of recording schedules, motion detection zones and playback searches. The DVR runs silently without fan noise, making it suitable for installation in occupied spaces such as home offices or retail back rooms. A programmable spot output allows a specific camera feed to be displayed on a secondary monitor independently of the main quad or multi-camera view.
