Description

The HDview 4MP 4-channel CCTV kit includes a 4-channel DVR with a pre-installed 1TB surveillance-grade hard drive, four 4MP dome cameras rated IP66 for outdoor use, 25m of coaxial cable per camera, and a 12V system power supply. Each camera captures 4MP resolution video through a 3.6mm fixed lens with infrared night vision, housed in a grey weatherproof dome casing suitable for wall or ceiling mounting.

Designed for residential, small office and light commercial security applications, the system supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes. Remote viewing operates through the ESP HDview smartphone app or the included CMS software for PC monitoring over a wired network connection or PowerLine adapter. The DVR offers HDMI and VGA video outputs for connection to a dedicated monitor, with a programmable spot output for sequential camera display.

The 1TB hard drive provides approximately 10-14 days of continuous 4MP recording from all four cameras depending on motion activity and scene complexity, or significantly longer when motion-triggered recording is enabled. Recorded footage can be backed up to USB drives for evidence transfer. The DVR operates silently without audible fan noise and is controlled through a mouse-driven interface rather than front-panel buttons.

The four dome cameras each feature a ring of infrared LEDs around the lens for night vision coverage up to 25m in complete darkness. The IP66 rating protects against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, making the cameras suitable for external mounting under eaves, on garage walls, or in covered outdoor areas. The 3.6mm lens provides a wide field of view appropriate for monitoring driveways, side passages, rear gardens and building perimeters.
