Description

The HDview 4MP 4 Channel CCTV Kit pairs four IP66-rated bullet cameras with a 4-channel DVR and a pre-installed 4TB surveillance hard drive. Each camera captures 4-megapixel resolution day and night footage using infrared LEDs with a 25m night vision range, recording to the DVR via coaxial cable. The DVR handles continuous, motion-triggered or scheduled recording modes and supports simultaneous live viewing on connected monitors.

Designed for small homes, workshops and retail premises requiring perimeter monitoring, the kit covers up to four camera positions with a single recording unit. The HDview mobile app provides remote access to live feeds and stored footage from smartphones, while PC software offers desktop viewing and playback. HDMI and VGA outputs on the DVR allow connection to external monitors for on-site display, and USB ports enable export of recorded clips to external storage for archiving or sharing.

Each bullet camera carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, making them suitable for outdoor installation on exterior walls, eaves and gate posts. The 3.6mm fixed lens on each camera provides a wide field of view suited to monitoring driveways, garden perimeters and building entrances. The DVR operates silently without a cooling fan, and the mouse-driven interface simplifies navigation through menus, playback and settings configuration.

The 4TB hard drive provides weeks of continuous recording capacity depending on selected resolution and frame rate settings, with overwrite protection available to preserve critical footage. The system supports wired Ethernet connection to a router for network access, or PowerLine Adapter connectivity where running Ethernet cable is impractical. All four cameras and the DVR are powered by included 12V DC adapters.

The kit includes four 4MP bullet cameras, one 4-channel DVR with 4TB hard drive pre-installed, four 12V power adapters for the cameras, one 12V power adapter for the DVR, coaxial cables for connecting cameras to the DVR, and a mouse for DVR navigation. HDMI and Ethernet cables are not included.

Can the cameras be used outdoors?

Yes. Each bullet camera carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, making them suitable for outdoor installation on walls, eaves and posts. The cameras operate in temperatures from -10°C to 50°C and include infrared LEDs for 25m night vision.

How is remote access configured?

The DVR connects to a router via Ethernet cable (or PowerLine Adapter). Once connected, download the HDview mobile app to a smartphone or the PC software to a desktop computer. Follow the app's setup wizard to add the DVR to your account using the DVR's serial number or QR code. Remote access requires the DVR to have a stable internet connection.

How long does 4TB record for?

Recording duration depends on resolution, frame rate and motion activity. At 4MP resolution with continuous recording across all four cameras, 4TB typically stores 2-4 weeks of footage. Motion-triggered recording extends this significantly. The DVR can be set to overwrite the oldest footage automatically when the drive is full.
