Description

The Harper is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a 456mm-diameter clear seeded glass drum, held by a heritage brass frame with three curved arms extending from a ceiling-mounted hub. Each of the three E27 bulb positions inside the glass drum provides direct illumination through the seeded glass, which scatters light into a soft ambient glow rather than projecting hard shadows.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.1-2.6m where a pendant would hang too low or a flush ceiling light would feel too flat, the Harper's 253mm drop provides visual presence without intruding into headroom. The semi-flush format works in entrance halls, landing areas, bedroom ceilings, and dining rooms where table-to-ceiling clearance is limited. The three curved brass arms distribute the bulb positions evenly across the glass drum, avoiding the single-centre-bulb hotspot common in flush ceiling lights.

The heritage brass finish is a warm mid-tone brass with slight antiquing, sitting between polished brass and antique brass in colour depth. The seeded glass contains small trapped air bubbles throughout the material, a deliberate manufacturing effect that gives the glass a vintage hand-blown character and diffuses light more effectively than clear glass. The decorative brass knobs at each arm junction add period detail without pushing the fitting into full traditional or Art Deco territory.

The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each (bulbs sold separately).
