Description

The Halmstad is an 850mm outdoor bollard light built around a rectangular black powder-coated steel column with a louvred head section and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), with the diffuser softening direct glare and spreading light downward onto paths and upward through the horizontal louvres.

Designed for driveways, garden paths, patios and entrance areas, the Halmstad provides both wayfinding light and ambient illumination in residential and commercial outdoor settings. The IP65 rating protects the internal components against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the bollard suitable for coastal locations and exposed positions where rain-driven wind is frequent. The 120mm square footprint requires a below-ground mounting base (not included) set into concrete or a paved surface, with cable entry through the base of the column.

The black powder-coated finish is applied over steel, giving corrosion resistance and a matt surface that absorbs rather than reflects daylight. The louvred head design — five horizontal bars above the diffuser — prevents snow and debris from settling on the top surface while allowing heat from the bulb to vent upward. At 850mm the bollard sits below typical adult eye level, reducing glare for pedestrians walking past while still projecting enough light to define path edges and steps.
