Description

The Grand Bank is a 305mm outdoor pendant light built around a circular antique grey metal frame that holds a cylindrical clear seeded glass shade at its centre, with brushed aluminium detailing on the canopy and lower finial. The glass is seeded rather than plain, giving a textured surface that diffuses the light from the single E27 bulb (sold separately) while maintaining good downward throw for entrance lighting. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, making this suitable for covered porches, pergolas, and building overhangs where the fitting is sheltered from direct rainfall.

Designed for entrance porches, front doors under canopies, covered walkways, and garden rooms with weather protection overhead, the Grand Bank hangs on a 1524mm chain that's adjustable on installation to drops between 500mm and 2033mm. The circular frame gives the pendant a wider visual presence than its 305mm diameter suggests, working well in doorways 900-1200mm wide or above garden tables under pergolas. The chain and cable run through the polished chrome canopy, which sits flush to the ceiling rose.

The antique grey finish is a weathered mid-tone grey powder coat over steel, chosen for its resistance to UV fade and corrosion in sheltered outdoor environments. The brushed aluminium canopy and lower finial provide tonal contrast without introducing a second strong colour, keeping the palette neutral enough to pair with grey, white, black or natural timber cladding. The seeded glass texture catches daylight when the pendant is off, adding visual interest to covered entrance areas during the day. The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W, with most users choosing a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K for a welcoming entrance glow.
