Description

The Glowcore is a 200mm white LED wall light with an integrated 10.5W 3000K LED housed behind a satin acrylic diffuser. The powder-coated metal body curves away from the wall to direct light both upwards and downwards as indirect wash lighting, avoiding direct glare and creating ambient fill rather than task illumination.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, living room accent walls and landings where soft background light is needed without overhead fittings, the Glowcore mounts directly to a standard UK wall box or surface plate. The 155mm projection from the wall gives enough stand-off for the light to spread up and down the wall surface without creating harsh scallops. The IP20 rating limits it to dry internal use — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor applications.

The satin acrylic diffuser softens the LED point sources inside to a consistent glow across the front face of the fitting, while the curved metal body prevents the LED being visible from normal viewing angles. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light that sits comfortably in residential interiors without the cooler blue cast of higher Kelvin temperatures. The fitting is supplied by Ideal Lux, an Italian manufacturer established in 1983.
