Description

The Glorix is a 73mm diameter fixed recessed downlight with a polished chrome bezel that sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed. The fitting accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) and requires a minimum 20mm ceiling void depth for the lamp holder and wiring connections. The polished chrome finish provides a highly reflective surface that works in both modern and traditional interiors.

Designed for general indoor lighting in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms (zones outside shower enclosures), living rooms and bedrooms, the Glorix provides directional downward light that illuminates worktops, walkways and task areas. The fixed bezel angle means light direction is set at installation rather than being adjustable afterwards. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.

The metal bezel and lamp holder are built to handle the heat output from halogen and LED GU10 bulbs up to the maximum wattage specified by the bulb manufacturer. Most users pair this fitting with 4-7W LED GU10 bulbs in 2700K-4000K depending on whether warm or neutral white light is preferred. The fitting is dimmable when used with dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch rated for the bulb technology being used.

Is the light direction adjustable?
