Description

The Glorix is a 73mm recessed downlight with a brushed nickel trim ring and a fixed GU10 lamp holder. The fitting sits flush with the ceiling with a 20mm recess depth, leaving only the outer nickel ring and the face of the GU10 bulb visible from below. The fixed orientation means the light cone projects directly downward, making this a functional fitting for general room lighting, corridor runs, or zones where directed accent lighting is not needed.

Designed for dry indoor locations with an IP20 rating, the Glorix suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and home offices where recessed lighting is preferred over surface-mounted fittings. The 73mm cut-out diameter is a standard size compatible with most ceiling types including plasterboard on timber joists and suspended ceilings. Installation requires a ceiling void depth of at least 90mm to accommodate the GU10 lamp holder and wiring connections behind the visible trim.

The brushed nickel finish provides a neutral metallic accent that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes without the high reflectivity of polished chrome. The metal construction of the trim ring and housing gives the fitting durability in residential and light commercial settings. The Glorix accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb up to 50W (sold separately), and is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 bulb and dimmer circuit.
