Description

The Glimmera is a three-phase track spotlight with a cylindrical black housing, adjustable head and a single GU10 bulb fitting. The housing measures 57mm in diameter and 90mm in height, with a projection of 80-155mm from the track depending on how the head is angled. The adapter clips onto a three-phase track rail and locks into position with a quarter-turn mechanism.

Designed for retail spaces, galleries, showrooms and museum installations where individual light sources need repositioning along a track run without re-wiring, the Glimmera allows the light head to rotate 350° horizontally and tilt approximately 90° vertically once mounted. The three-phase track system means each spotlight can be individually switched or grouped onto separate circuits, giving control over which lights are active at different times of day or for different displays.

The black finish is a low-sheen powder coat over the metal housing and plastic adapter body, minimising reflections and keeping the fitting visually recessive when installed against dark ceilings or in gallery environments where the focus stays on the illuminated objects rather than the light source. The spotlight accepts any GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to the rated wattage (see Specification), with dimmability dependent on the bulb and dimmer pairing.

A three-phase track carries three separate electrical circuits within one rail, allowing spotlights to be assigned to different circuits and switched independently. Is the Glimmera dimmable?

Yes. The adapter unlocks with a quarter-turn and can be slid along the track rail to a new position, then locked back into place. This allows display lighting to be reconfigured without re-wiring.
