Description

The Glimmer is an adjustable LED wall light with a 595mm horizontal arm extending from a narrow 27mm vertical backplate, finished in matt black powder-coated aluminium. An integrated 3W 3000K LED sits inside a cylindrical head that rotates on the arm, allowing the beam to be angled towards a reading position, down onto a desk surface, or along a wall as wash light. A knurled transparent acrylic screen diffuses the LED output into a soft, focused beam.

Designed as directional task lighting rather than ambient, the Glimmer suits bedside reading positions, hallway accent lighting above sideboards or console tables, and workspace lighting where a fixed spotlight is needed but overhead ceiling fittings aren't practical. The 595mm arm positions the light head far enough from the wall to cast a usable beam without the backplate shadowing the lit area. The 99mm height keeps the fitting compact when viewed head-on.

The matt black powder coat gives a low-sheen finish that minimises reflections and pairs comfortably with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for approximately 50,000 hours of use, equivalent to over 10 years at 12 hours daily use. The IP20 rating limits the Glimmer to dry indoor locations — bedrooms, living rooms, offices and hallways where moisture and dust are not factors.

Installation requires a standard UK wiring back box recessed into the wall behind the narrow vertical backplate. The arm and head assembly is pre-wired to the backplate, so once the backplate is fixed to the wall the fitting is ready to switch on.
