Description

The Glimmara is a 21W LED track spotlight with a cylindrical black body measuring 160mm long and 52mm in diameter, mounted on a three-phase track adapter. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light through a directional reflector that focuses the beam onto products, artworks, or architectural features. The spotlight head rotates on the track adapter and tilts on its mounting axis, allowing the light to be aimed at any angle within a 350-degree rotation and approximately 90-degree tilt range.

Designed for retail interiors, galleries, showrooms and museums requiring accent lighting on three-phase track systems, the Glimmara provides directional task lighting without requiring individual ceiling cut-outs for each fitting. The three-phase track compatibility allows multiple spotlights to be positioned, repositioned and powered from a single track run, making it suitable for spaces where lighting layouts change seasonally or where displays are frequently rearranged. The 21W LED output provides enough intensity to highlight individual objects from ceiling heights of 2.5-3.5m without washing out detail.

The IP20 rating confines the Glimmara to indoor dry environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor canopies. The black metal body and track adapter provide a neutral visual that recedes into dark ceilings in gallery and retail contexts, keeping attention on the lit objects rather than the fittings themselves. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan typical of commercial-grade LED modules. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty on the fitting.

The Glimmara uses a three-phase track adapter, which is the standard in commercial and retail lighting across Europe. It will not fit single-circuit or two-circuit domestic track systems without an adapter or track replacement.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The LED module is rated for a typical commercial lifespan of 20,000-30,000 hours, after which the entire fitting would need replacing.

Is the Glimmara dimmable?
