Description

The Glim is a single GU10 spotlight with an adjustable head and powder-coated black metal construction. The spotlight head rotates on a ball joint, allowing the beam to be directed onto artwork, shelving, worktops or reading positions. The fitting mounts to either a wall or ceiling using a 130mm backplate, making it adaptable to different room layouts.

Designed for accent lighting in living rooms, task lighting in kitchens and home offices, or reading light next to beds and armchairs, the Glim pairs a compact footprint with flexible beam control. The 120mm projection from the wall or ceiling keeps the spotlight head clear of obstructions while remaining visually unobtrusive. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor use only.

The powder-coated black finish provides a low-sheen surface that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs better than gloss paint. The fitting takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately) up to 50W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or dimmable LED depending on brightness and colour temperature needs. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — pair with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible dimmer switch for variable light levels.

Can the Glim be mounted on a ceiling as well as a wall?

Yes. The 130mm backplate is designed for both wall and ceiling mounting. The adjustable head allows the beam to be directed as needed regardless of mounting position.
