Description

The Gleonis is a 500mm spherical pendant light with a matt white painted metal frame and a polycarbonate diffuser finished with a paper-effect coating. The diffuser softens the light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and gives the sphere a textured appearance that reads as slightly matte rather than glossy white. The pendant hangs on a fabric-covered cable suspended from a white metal ceiling rose.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Gleonis provides central ambient light within a 10-15m² area depending on bulb choice. The 470mm drop from ceiling to the bottom of the sphere is adjustable during installation by shortening the cable. The dimmable rating allows the pendant to be paired with a compatible dimmer switch when wired with a dimmable LED or halogen E27 bulb.

The paper-effect coating on the polycarbonate diffuser gives the sphere a subtle texture visible under daylight and when the light is off, differentiating it from plain white glass or plastic pendants. The matt white metal frame consists of curved ribs that support the diffuser and form structural lines across the sphere. At 500mm diameter the Gleonis suits rooms where a larger pendant is needed to fill the vertical space above a 1.6-2m table or island without overwhelming the room.

The fabric-covered cable adds detail to the suspension and comes in white to match the pendant body. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry indoor locations only. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty on manufacturing defects.
