Description

The Glacia is a 460mm diameter round ceiling canopy in silver finish metal, designed to support up to five pendant lights from a single ceiling point. Five cable outlet apertures are distributed evenly across the base plate, allowing multiple pendants to be wired from one ceiling rose and arranged in a cluster or linear spread depending on the cable lengths chosen.

Intended for dining areas, kitchen islands and living spaces where a grouped pendant arrangement provides better light distribution than a single central fitting, the canopy mounts flush to the ceiling and conceals the wiring junction behind the base plate. The 460mm diameter gives sufficient coverage to spread five cable outlets across a wide enough area to create visual balance when the pendants are hung at different drops.

The silver finish is applied to pressed steel, giving a reflective metallic surface that pairs with polished chrome, brushed nickel and satin silver pendant fittings. The canopy weighs approximately 800g unladen and can support a combined pendant weight of up to 5kg when fixed into a standard UK ceiling joist or plasterboard anchor rated for the load. The base plate is 8mm thick at the mounting points, providing structural rigidity once installed.
