Description

The Glacia is a 1200mm linear ceiling canopy in copper-finished metal, designed to support up to five pendant lights along its length. Five pre-drilled outlet points spaced evenly across the bar allow multiple pendants to drop from a single ceiling fixing, turning what would otherwise require five separate ceiling roses into one continuous mounting surface.

Used primarily over dining tables and kitchen islands where clustered pendant lighting creates focused task light and visual interest, the Glacia accommodates pendants with ceiling cup diameters up to approximately 60mm. The 70mm projection from the ceiling gives enough depth to house the cable entry and ceiling fixings while keeping the canopy relatively low-profile. The copper finish sits between polished rose gold and aged bronze in tone, pairing well with warm metals, natural wood and contemporary interiors that favour warmer accent tones.

The metal construction carries the weight of five standard pendant fittings without flexing, provided each pendant remains under the typical 2-3kg weight of most domestic glass or metal shades. Cable management runs inside the bar, concealing five individual flex runs from the electrical connection point to each outlet. The canopy fixes to a standard UK ceiling joist or ceiling plate via two mounting points, one at each end of the 1200mm span.
