How does the magnetic mount work?

Once the ceiling rose is wired and fixed to the ceiling, the pendant canopy attaches magnetically, holding the pendant in place without screws. To remove the pendant, pull it gently downwards to overcome the magnetic hold.

Can I use this with any pendant light?
