Description

The Gerhard is a 40cm white metal dome pendant light with an integrated 26W LED delivering 3000K warm white light through a matte acrylic diffuser. The dome is finished with a shagreen-textured surface that minimises the visibility of fingerprints and dust accumulation, reducing the frequency of cleaning needed compared to smooth gloss finishes.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Gerhard provides general ambient lighting over surfaces that need consistent illumination without glare. The adjustable wire length allows the pendant to be set anywhere from 57cm to 347cm below the ceiling fixing point, giving flexibility to position the light 70-90cm above a dining table or worktop. The matte acrylic diffuser spreads the LED output evenly across the underside of the dome, preventing visible hotspots or dark rings.

The white powder-coated metal construction gives the 40cm dome enough visual weight to anchor a 2-3m dining table or kitchen island without dominating the space. The shagreen texture adds a fine grain to the surface that catches light differently than flat white, softening the profile when viewed from the side.
