Description
The Frame is a 46cm wall light built around a central gold-plated metal band that holds transparent glass rods radiating upwards and downwards. Two E14 bulb fittings sit inside the metal housing, one directing light upwards through the glass rods above, the other directing light downwards through the rods below. The glass rods extend vertically in graduated lengths, creating a stepped, organ-pipe profile when mounted.
Designed for hallways, staircases and feature walls where vertical emphasis suits the space, the Frame works equally in modern and art-deco-influenced interiors. The up-and-down light distribution creates a wash effect on the wall surface above and below the fitting, giving ambient light without direct glare. The 10.4cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting relatively compact for a wall light of this height.
The transparent glass rods catch and refract light from the twin E14 bulbs, turning the glass itself into the visual feature when lit. The gold finish on the metal band provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass hardware, warm-toned timber and neutral wall colours. Each E14 socket takes bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on desired brightness and colour temperature. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Frame takes two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, one for the upward light and one for the downward light. Each socket is rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-7W and 2700K-3000K.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no moisture protection and is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area where water splashes are possible.
How is it fitted to the wall?
The Frame mounts to a standard UK back box or directly to the wall using the fixing bracket supplied. The 10.4cm projection from the wall includes the mounting bracket depth. Wiring connects inside the metal housing before the glass rods are slotted into place.
Can it be dimmed?
Dimming depends on the bulbs used. If you fit dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch, the Frame can be dimmed. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.
