Description

The Focus S is a single-phase track spotlight with a cylindrical aluminium body finished in black and graphite, mounting onto Unity track systems via a flat, recessed adapter that sits flush with the track bar. The spotlight head rotates 360° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be directed across walls, displays, artwork or worksurfaces once installed.

Designed for retail, gallery, kitchen and office installations where directed accent lighting is needed, the Focus S takes a single GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately). The recessed lamp position minimises glare and creates a defined beam pattern rather than spill light. The Unity adapter clips into single-phase track without tools, making it straightforward to position multiple spotlights along a run and reposition them as needed.

The 125mm height and 52mm diameter give the spotlight a compact presence that works on ceiling-mounted track in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights without dominating sightlines. The black and graphite finish combines a matt black body with a darker metallic tone at the head, softening the industrial aesthetic and pairing comfortably with both monochrome and warmer interiors. The aluminium construction keeps the weight low while providing durable housing for the lamp holder and swivel mechanism.

What track system does this fit?

The Focus S is designed for Maytoni Unity single-phase track systems. The flat adapter clips into the track bar and sits flush with the surface. It is not compatible with three-circuit track or other manufacturers' track without an adapter.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight takes a single GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use LED GU10 bulbs between 5-7W and 3000K for accent lighting in retail or gallery settings, or 4000K for task lighting in offices and kitchens.

Can the spotlight be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head rotates 360° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be redirected without removing the spotlight from the track. The Unity adapter also allows the entire spotlight to be repositioned along the track run.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is designed for dry indoor environments only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms, or any area where it may be exposed to moisture or splashes.
