Description

The Fluxia-2 is a 240mm diameter ribbed glass pendant with a green translucent shade and a brushed brass canopy. The shade is formed from moulded glass with vertical ribbing that runs from the crown to the base, creating a fluted surface that refracts light as it passes through the green-tinted glass. A single E27 bulb sits inside the shade, visible through the ribs when lit.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and low-ceiling spaces, the Fluxia-2 suits installations where the pendant sits 600-800mm above a worktop or table. The 185mm height and squat proportions keep the fitting compact, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation to set the drop precisely. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The green glass shifts in tone depending on the bulb inside it and the ambient light in the room — appearing darker teal in shadow and brighter sea-green when backlit or viewed against daylight. The vertical ribbing adds texture and breaks up reflections, so the pendant reads as sculptural rather than flat. The brushed brass canopy contrasts with the cooler green glass and pairs comfortably with brass cabinet hardware, taps and warm metallics elsewhere in the room. Yes. The pendant itself supports dimming when paired with a compatible E27 dimmable LED bulb and a dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

The Fluxia-2 takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting over dining tables or kitchen islands.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor locations. It is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installations.
