Description

The Flarestar is a 400mm diameter pendant light combining a blown clear glass shade with an internal cascade of cut crystal droplets suspended from a polished chrome canopy. Five G9 bulbs sit behind the crystal strands, their light refracting through the cut glass and diffusing through the outer clear glass shell to create layered ambient and decorative illumination.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centres, the Flarestar provides both task light through the G9 bulbs and decorative light from the crystal refraction. The 400mm diameter suits rooms of 12-18m² and works over tables of 1.4-1.8m length. The pendant is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 LED bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted from full output for meal preparation to low ambient glow for evening dining.

The clear glass outer shell shows the full cascade of crystal droplets inside, giving the fitting visual depth even when unlit. The polished chrome canopy and suspension cables sit flush to the ceiling and support the glass dome from three equidistant points, distributing the weight evenly. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only — it cannot be used in bathrooms or outdoor spaces.

Each G9 bulb is accessed by removing the glass shade from below, which unclips from the chrome canopy after loosening a securing collar. The crystal strands remain attached to the chrome frame during bulb replacement, reducing the risk of damage to the cut glass elements.
