Description

The Knightsbridge RW6WW is a fire-rated LED downlight with an integrated 6W LED delivering 595 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a 40° beam angle. The fitting comprises an aluminium body with a white polycarbonate bezel and a clear diffuser, rated IP65 from below and IP20 from above. IC fire-rating provides 30, 60 or 90 minutes of fire resistance when installed in solid wood joists, depending on the joist specification.

Designed for recessed installation in ceilings where fire resistance is required by building regulations, the downlight suits hallways, landings, kitchens, bathrooms (zones 1, 2 and 3 due to the IP65 rating) and living spaces in domestic and commercial properties. The 72mm cut-out diameter and 67mm recessed depth require a minimum ceiling void of 120mm. The driver is integrated into the fitting and connects via push-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals, allowing multiple downlights to be wired in series without junction boxes.

The white bezel sits 7mm proud of the ceiling surface once installed and provides a clean edge to the aperture. Yes. The IP65 rating from below makes it suitable for zones 1, 2 and 3 in bathrooms. The IP20 rating from above means the ceiling void must remain dry. Do not install directly above a shower enclosure without additional protection from steam ingress into the void.
