Description

The Exility Track Flexible Corner Power Connector is a 33cm black plastic cable that routes 48V DC power between track lighting segments at 90-degree angles. The connector plugs into standard Exility track power points at both ends, allowing track runs to turn corners without requiring a ceiling junction box or fixed-angle joint at the corner itself.

Designed for residential and commercial track lighting installations where the track layout needs to follow architectural features, change direction around corners, or route power between parallel track runs. The 33cm cable length gives enough reach to span typical corners in domestic rooms (connecting tracks on adjacent walls meeting at 90 degrees) while remaining taut enough to avoid visible cable sag when routed along a ceiling or wall junction.

The black plastic housing and cable insulation maintain the visual consistency of a black track system, blending with both matt and gloss black track profiles. The IP20 rating confines use to dry interior locations only. The connector carries 48V DC rather than mains voltage, which is standard for Maytoni's Exility modular track system and requires a separate track power supply (sold separately) to step down from 230V mains to the 48V DC the track and connector operate on.

Is this compatible with all track lighting systems?

No. This connector is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility track lighting range, which operates on 48V DC. It will not work with mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' low-voltage tracks unless they share the same 48V DC specification and connector profile.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this connector is suitable for dry interior locations only. It is not protected against moisture ingress and should not be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor application.

Does the connector include the power supply?

No. The connector routes power between track segments but does not include the track power supply unit that converts 230V mains to 48V DC. The power supply is sold separately and must be installed at the beginning of the track run.

How is the 33cm length measured?

The 33cm length is the total cable run between the two connector plugs. This allows the connector to span a typical 90-degree corner where tracks on adjacent walls meet, or to bridge between parallel track runs mounted approximately 25-30cm apart once the plug housings are accounted for.
