Description

The Exility magnetic track corner connector is a 90-degree aluminium junction piece that allows surface-mounted magnetic track runs to turn corners while maintaining continuous electrical connection. The connector measures 100mm x 100mm in plan with a 52mm height profile, matching the standard Exility magnetic track system dimensions. The white powder-coated aluminium finish provides a clean, unobtrusive appearance when installed against white or light-coloured ceilings.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices where magnetic track lighting needs to follow L-shaped or perimeter runs, the connector accepts Exility track sections on two perpendicular faces. The magnetic interface on the interior channel allows compatible track heads and pendants to slide through the corner without interruption. Installation requires surface fixing to a solid ceiling or soffit using the mounting plates visible in the connector housing.

The aluminium construction keeps the connector lightweight at approximately 200g while providing structural rigidity for track runs up to 3m on each leg of the corner. The white finish is applied as a durable powder coat that resists scratching during installation and maintains colour stability under LED heat exposure. The 90-degree geometry is fixed — the connector does not adjust to other angles.

The connector is designed specifically for the Maytoni Exility surface-mounted magnetic track range. It matches the standard Exility track profile dimensions and magnetic interface. Compatibility with other manufacturers' magnetic track systems is not guaranteed.

Can track heads slide through the corner?

Yes. The magnetic channel runs continuously through the 90-degree turn, allowing compatible magnetic track heads and pendants to be repositioned around the corner without removal.

What angle does the connector provide?

The connector provides a fixed 90-degree turn. It does not adjust to other angles. For angled or curved runs, check whether Maytoni offers adjustable or flexible connectors in the Exility range.

How is the connector fixed to the ceiling?

The connector uses surface-mounted fixing plates visible on the top of the housing. These plates require screws into a solid ceiling, joist or soffit. The mounting method is detailed in the product manual linked in the Downloads tab.
