Description

The ESP MAGfire is a 1W LED strobe with a red polycarbonate lens and IP66 weatherproof rating, designed for fire alarm panels, security systems and external warning applications. The LED strobe produces bright, visible pulses of red light suitable for outdoor use in temperatures from -10°C to +55°C.

Mounted directly to external building walls, security perimeters, and equipment housings, the MAGfire provides a visual alert signal visible in daylight at distances up to 50m depending on ambient light conditions. The IP66 rating protects the electronics and LED from water jets, heavy rain and dust ingress, making it suitable for year-round external installation in UK weather.

The red lens is moulded from impact-resistant polycarbonate with vertical and horizontal ribbing across the surface to diffuse the LED flash pattern. The 80mm square base houses the electronics and mounting terminals, allowing the strobe to be wired to 12V or 24V DC alarm panels. Total weight is 100g, so the unit can be surface-mounted to timber, brick or metal substrates using appropriate fixings.
