Description

The ESP HDview is a complete 4MP CCTV system comprising a 4-channel DVR with 8TB pre-installed surveillance hard drive, four weatherproof bullet cameras, cabling and a centralised 12V power supply. Each camera records at 4 megapixel resolution and features infrared night vision effective to 25 metres, housed in IP66-rated white metal casings with fixed 3.6mm lenses.

Designed for residential and small commercial properties requiring perimeter monitoring, the system supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes. The DVR connects to monitors via HDMI or VGA outputs and provides remote access through the ESP HDview smartphone app or included CMS software for PC viewing. Footage can be backed up to USB drives for evidence transfer or archival.

The 8TB hard drive provides weeks of continuous recording capacity at 4MP resolution depending on frame rate and compression settings. The DVR operates silently without cooling fans, making it suitable for installation in living areas or home offices where noise would be intrusive. The system supports wired network connection or PowerLine adapters for remote monitoring without running additional Ethernet cables.

All four cameras ship pre-configured for the DVR, with mounting brackets included. The IP66 rating on each camera casing allows outdoor installation in exposed positions subject to rain and dust. The infrared LED arrays around each lens activate automatically in low light, switching the camera sensor to monochrome mode for night recording.

Can the cameras be used outdoors?

Yes. Each bullet camera carries an IP66 rating, meaning it is protected against heavy rain and dust ingress. The cameras can be mounted on external walls, eaves or fences in exposed positions.
