Description

The ESP HDview is a 4-channel 4MP CCTV kit supplied with a DVR recorder, two IP66-rated dome cameras, 25m of BNC cabling per camera, and a 12V power supply. The DVR accepts 4MP video streams from the two included dome cameras and supports the addition of two further cameras up to the 4-channel maximum. An 8TB surveillance-grade hard drive is pre-installed in the DVR for continuous or motion-triggered recording.

Designed for domestic and small commercial installation, the kit suits properties requiring front and rear coverage, driveways, shop entrances, or warehouse loading areas. The dome cameras carry IP66 weatherproofing for outdoor mounting and house infrared LEDs for night vision up to 25m. The 3.6mm fixed lens provides a wide field of view suited to monitoring areas 5-10m from the camera position. The DVR outputs via HDMI or VGA to connect to a monitor for live viewing and playback.

Remote monitoring is available via the ESP HDview smartphone app or via CMS software on a PC, connecting over a wired network or via an optional PowerLine adapter. Recording modes include continuous, scheduled by time of day, or motion-triggered, with USB backup available for transferring footage. The DVR is mouse-driven and operates silently without cooling fans, making it suitable for installation in occupied spaces.

The grey dome cameras blend with exterior render and stonework without creating high visual contrast. The DVR measures approximately 350mm wide and fits standard AV cabinet shelving. Both cameras and DVR use 12V DC power supplied by the included adapter.

Yes. The DVR supports up to 4 cameras total. Two dome cameras are included in this kit, so you can add two further ESP HDview-compatible cameras purchased separately. The system accepts 4MP cameras with BNC connectors.

The dome cameras include infrared LEDs providing night vision up to 25m in complete darkness. Actual range depends on ambient light and the reflectivity of surfaces in the camera's field of view.

How is remote viewing set up?

Download the ESP HDview app on your smartphone and connect the DVR to your home or business network via ethernet cable. The app guides you through adding the DVR to your account. Alternatively, use the included CMS software for remote viewing from a Windows PC.

How long does the 8TB hard drive record for?

Recording duration depends on resolution, frame rate, and whether you use continuous or motion-triggered recording. At 4MP resolution with two cameras on continuous recording, an 8TB drive typically stores 30-60 days of footage before overwriting older files.
