Description

The ESP HDview is a 4-channel CCTV kit built around a 4MP-capable DVR with an 8TB surveillance-grade hard drive pre-installed, paired with two 4MP bullet cameras rated IP66 for outdoor installation. The DVR records up to 4 megapixel resolution from each connected camera and supports up to four cameras total, with two channels remaining available for expansion.

Designed for domestic and small commercial perimeter monitoring, the kit includes all required components: DVR unit, two bullet cameras with 3.6mm fixed lenses and 25m night vision range, cabling, and a centralised power supply. The cameras mount to exterior walls, soffits or fascia boards using the supplied bracket hardware. Recording modes include continuous, scheduled time windows, and motion-triggered, with footage stored on the internal 8TB drive and accessible via USB backup for evidence transfer.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and is controlled using the supplied mouse through an on-screen interface. Remote viewing works via the ESP HDview smartphone app (iOS and Android) or the included CMS software for PC access over a wired network or PowerLine adapter. The 4MP cameras deliver day and night footage using infrared LEDs that activate automatically at dusk, with the IP66 housing protecting against rain and dust ingress in UK outdoor conditions.

The 8TB surveillance hard drive provides extended recording capacity depending on resolution, frame rate and motion frequency — typically several weeks of continuous 4MP recording from two cameras before overwriting the oldest footage. The DVR operates silently with passive cooling, making it suitable for installation in homes, offices, workshops and retail premises without fan noise.
