Description
The ESP Duceri is a 6W LED emergency twin spot light with two independently adjustable lamp heads mounted on a white polycarbonate housing. Each head contains a 3W SMD LED array delivering a combined 380 lumens at 5500K daylight white when the mains power fails. The IP65 rating allows the unit to be installed indoors or outdoors, in corridors, stairwells, external escape routes, loading bays and covered car parks.
Designed for non-maintained operation, the LEDs remain off during normal mains power and illuminate only when the mains supply is interrupted, drawing on a 3.6V 3500mAh Ni-Cd battery that provides 3 hours of emergency run time. A green LED indicator on the front panel confirms the battery is charging correctly. The unit wall-mounts directly onto masonry or stud walls using the four corner fixing points on the rear of the housing.
The polycarbonate construction resists impact and UV degradation in outdoor installations, while the IP65 seal protects internal electronics from dust and water jets from any direction. The two spot heads rotate independently on their gooseneck mounts, allowing light to be directed along escape routes or onto specific hazards such as steps or doorways. The unit complies with BS EN 60598-2-22 emergency lighting standards and includes integrated charge and discharge protection to extend battery life.
The housing measures 301mm wide by 280mm high by 90mm deep when the heads are folded flat, though the heads extend approximately 150mm forward when angled for use. The 1.56kg net weight is suitable for hollow stud wall installation with appropriate fixings, though solid masonry or concrete substrates provide more secure mounting for high-traffic areas.

Frequently Asked
What does non-maintained mean?
Non-maintained means the LEDs stay off during normal mains power and only illuminate when the power fails. This differs from maintained emergency lights, which stay lit continuously and remain on during power cuts. Non-maintained operation is standard for emergency escape route lighting in commercial buildings.
Can this be used outdoors?
Yes. The IP65 rating protects the unit from dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for covered outdoor locations such as external corridors, loading bays, car park canopies and building entrances. Avoid direct exposure to standing water or submersion.
How long does the battery last?
The 3.6V 3500mAh Ni-Cd battery provides 3 hours of emergency run time from a full charge. The green LED indicator on the housing confirms the battery is charging correctly when the mains supply is active. Battery life degrades over time and should be tested annually as part of emergency lighting maintenance.
Are the lamp heads adjustable?
Yes. Both heads rotate independently on flexible gooseneck mounts, allowing the light to be directed along corridors, onto steps, or towards specific escape route hazards. The heads can be folded flat against the housing for installation or storage.
