Description

The ESP Duceri is a 5W LED non-maintained emergency downlight kit comprising a white aluminium bezel, LED module, battery pack and driver unit designed for recessed ceiling installation. The fitting produces 214 lumens of 5500K daylight-white light when mains power fails, drawing from a 4.8V 3500mAh Ni-Cd battery that provides 3 hours of emergency duration.

Non-maintained operation means the light only activates during mains failure, making it suitable for corridors, escape routes, stairwells and communal areas where permanent illumination is provided by separate fittings and emergency lighting is required only during power cuts or evacuations. A green LED indicator on the bezel shows charging status when mains power is present. The recessed format suits standard ceiling voids and gives a flush finish once installed.

The kit includes integral charge and discharge protection circuitry to extend battery life and prevent over-discharge damage. The aluminium bezel measures approximately 90mm diameter with a white powder-coated finish that blends into white or light-coloured ceilings.
