Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is an 8-channel CCTV kit supplied with four 4MP dome cameras, a 2TB hard drive DVR, 25m BNC cables, and a centralised 12V power supply. Each dome camera records at 4 megapixel resolution with built-in infrared LEDs for night vision up to 25 metres, housed in an IP66-rated weatherproof casing suitable for outdoor installation. The DVR supports up to eight cameras total, so the system can be expanded with an additional four cameras if needed.

Designed for residential properties, small commercial premises, workshops and storage facilities, the kit provides continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording to the pre-installed 2TB surveillance-grade hard drive. Live view and playback are accessible remotely via iOS/Android app or PC using the included CMS software, over either a wired network connection or PowerLine adapter. The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and is controlled using the supplied mouse through an on-screen interface.

Each grey dome camera uses a fixed 3.6mm lens providing a field of view suited to monitoring driveways, building perimeters, car parks and yard areas at ranges of 8-15 metres. The cameras switch automatically between day colour and night infrared modes based on ambient light levels. The DVR operates silently without cooling fans and allows USB backup of recorded footage for evidence transfer or archiving. The kit arrives with all necessary cabling, mounting hardware and the power supply required to run all four cameras from a single mains connection.

Yes. The DVR is an 8-channel unit, so it supports up to eight cameras in total. The kit comes with four dome cameras, leaving four channels available for expansion. Additional ESP Digivew HD+ cameras (model SHDVC36FDG or SHDVC36FDW) can be purchased separately and connected to the unused channels.

What's the recording capacity of the 2TB hard drive?

Recording duration depends on the number of cameras active, resolution settings, and whether you record continuously or on motion detection only. With four cameras recording continuously at 4MP, a 2TB drive typically holds 10-14 days of footage before the oldest recordings are overwritten.

Do the cameras work at night?

Yes. Each dome camera has built-in infrared LEDs that activate automatically in low light, providing night vision up to 25 metres. The cameras switch between colour daytime recording and black-and-white infrared recording based on ambient light levels.
