The ESP Digivew HD+ is an 8-channel DVR security system with four 4MP bullet cameras, an 8TB surveillance-grade hard drive pre-installed in the recorder, and all cables and power supplies needed for installation. The recorder supports up to eight cameras total, allowing expansion with four additional cameras without replacing the DVR unit.

Designed for residential properties, small commercial premises and retail units needing coverage of multiple zones, the kit records at 4MP resolution across all channels and provides live monitoring via HDMI or VGA output to a connected monitor. The four bullet cameras carry IP66 weatherproof rating, allowing outdoor mounting on walls, soffits and building corners. Each camera has infrared LEDs for night recording up to 25m range and a fixed 3.6mm lens providing approximately 75-degree horizontal field of view.

The DVR records continuously, on schedule, or on motion detection, with recordings stored to the 8TB hard drive providing months of retention depending on activity levels and recording mode. Remote viewing is available via the ESP mobile app for Android and iOS or via the included CMS software for Windows PCs. The system operates silently with passive cooling, avoiding fan noise in quiet environments such as offices and residential hallways where the DVR is located indoors.

The recorder outputs to both HDMI and VGA simultaneously, allowing connection to modern monitors via HDMI and older screens via VGA without switching cables. USB ports on the front panel allow recordings to be backed up to a USB drive for evidence transfer or archive. The system supports wired network connection for remote access and can also operate via powerline adapters where running Ethernet cable is impractical.

Can the system be expanded beyond four cameras?

Yes. The 8-channel DVR supports up to eight cameras total. You can add four more cameras of the same model or compatible ESP 4MP cameras to fill the remaining channels without replacing the recorder.

What's the night vision range?

Each bullet camera has infrared LEDs providing night recording up to 25m range in complete darkness. Actual range depends on the reflectivity of the target surface and environmental conditions.

How long does 8TB record for?

Recording duration depends on whether the system is set to continuous, scheduled or motion-only recording, and on the amount of activity in each camera's field of view. An 8TB drive typically provides several months of retention on motion-triggered recording or several weeks on continuous recording across four cameras at 4MP resolution.
