Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is a 4-channel CCTV system pairing a DVR with an 8TB surveillance hard drive, four 4MP dome cameras, 25m of cable and a 12V system power supply. The DVR records at 4MP resolution from all four cameras simultaneously, storing footage to the pre-installed hard drive with continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes selectable through the mouse-driven interface.

Designed for residential and light commercial use, the system supports remote viewing via the ESP HDview smartphone app and CMS software for PC monitoring. Video outputs include HDMI and VGA for connection to a monitor or TV. The four dome cameras carry IP66 weatherproof rating and 3.6mm fixed lenses with infrared LEDs for day/night operation, suitable for covering driveways, entrances, rear gardens and internal spaces. Each camera connects to the DVR via the supplied cable runs.

The 8TB surveillance-grade hard drive provides extended retention before overwriting begins — how long depends on recording mode, motion frequency and whether all four channels are populated. The DVR operates silently without active cooling fans, making it suitable for installation in cupboards, utility rooms or hallways where fan noise would be intrusive. USB backup allows recorded footage to be copied to a flash drive for evidence transfer or archiving.

The grey finish on the dome cameras pairs with slate, render and stonework on building exteriors, and the compact dome profile keeps the cameras discreet against walls and soffits. The system supports wired network connection or PowerLine Adapter pairing for remote access where Wi-Fi is unavailable.

Recording duration depends on whether you use continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording, and how many cameras are active. With all four cameras recording continuously at 4MP, an 8TB drive typically retains 2-3 weeks before overwriting the oldest footage. Motion-triggered recording extends this considerably.

Can I view the cameras remotely?

Yes. The system supports remote viewing via the ESP HDview smartphone app and CMS software for PC access. Remote connection requires either a wired network link to the DVR or a PowerLine Adapter if wired Ethernet is not available at the DVR location.

Are the cameras weatherproof?

The four dome cameras carry IP66 rating, making them suitable for outdoor installation in UK weather conditions. They include infrared LEDs for night vision and operate in day/night mode automatically.
