Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is a 4-channel DVR surveillance kit that records footage from four included 4MP bullet cameras to a 500GB pre-installed hard drive. Each camera connects to the DVR via a single cable run (up to 25m) carrying both video signal and 12V power, and the DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output. The system records at 4-megapixel resolution and supports live remote viewing via the ESP HDview smartphone app or CMS software on a PC.

Designed for domestic and small commercial premises, the kit suits single-storey properties where all four camera positions fall within 25m cable reach of the DVR location. The four bullet cameras carry IP66 weatherproof ratings and include infrared LEDs for night recording, making them suitable for external mounting on fascias, walls or eaves. The DVR offers three recording modes: continuous, scheduled (recording only during set hours) or motion-triggered, and footage can be backed up to USB for archiving or evidence transfer.

The DVR operates silently with no fan noise and fits inside a home network cabinet, under a desk or in a utility cupboard. The mouse-driven interface allows playback of recorded footage by date/time or motion event, and the programmable spot output can send a single camera feed to a secondary monitor. Remote monitoring works over wired Ethernet or via a PowerLine adapter where direct cable connection to the router is not practical.

The 500GB surveillance-grade hard drive stores approximately 7-10 days of continuous 4MP footage from all four cameras (exact duration depends on scene complexity and motion levels). When the drive reaches capacity, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten unless locked for evidence preservation. Each bullet camera uses a fixed 3.6mm lens giving a horizontal field of view around 80-90 degrees, suitable for covering driveways, rear gardens, shop fronts and building entrances.
