Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is a 4 channel DVR system supplied with two 4MP dome cameras, a 500GB surveillance hard drive, 25m of cable and a system power supply. The DVR records at 4 megapixel resolution and supports live view at the same resolution, with the capacity to add two more cameras to reach the 4 channel maximum. The white dome cameras carry an IP66 rating for outdoor installation and include IR LEDs for night recording up to 25m.

Designed for residential and small commercial properties requiring coverage of entry points, driveways, car parks or shop floors, the system supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes. Footage is stored on the pre-installed 500GB surveillance-grade hard drive and can be backed up to USB for transfer to other devices. Remote viewing works via the ESP HDview smartphone app or the included CMS software for PC viewing over a wired network or PowerLine adapter connection.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and operates silently without fan noise. The mouse-driven interface allows configuration of recording schedules, motion zones and camera settings without needing a keyboard. Each dome camera uses a 3.6mm fixed lens suited to wide-angle coverage of driveways and building perimeters rather than long-range identification. The system supports upgrade to higher storage capacities (1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 8TB) within the same DVR chassis if extended retention is needed later.

Frequently Asked

Can I add more cameras to this system?

Yes. The DVR is a 4 channel system supplied with two cameras, leaving two channels available for additional cameras. Compatible ESP dome or bullet cameras can be added up to the 4 camera maximum.

What's the night vision range?

The dome cameras include IR LEDs rated to 25m in complete darkness. Actual visibility depends on ambient conditions and the reflectivity of surfaces being recorded.

How long does 500GB record for?

Recording duration depends on resolution, frame rate and whether motion-only or continuous recording is used. At 4MP continuous recording with two cameras, 500GB typically stores 7-10 days of footage. Motion-only recording extends this significantly.

Are the cameras weatherproof?

Yes. The dome cameras carry an IP66 rating, meaning they're protected against heavy rain and dust ingress. They're suitable for outdoor installation on walls, soffits and eaves.
